If your school has been using Microsoft 365 for a while there’s a good chance that you’ve already got a lot of pages and files stored in SharePoint.
Until now there hasn’t been an easy way to present everyone using Microsoft Teams in your school with a consistent landing page.
Microsoft has solved this problem with the soon to be released SharePoint Home site app for Microsoft Teams. The home app surfaces SharePoint sites and pages which are a part of your school’s intranet, but would otherwise be hidden within a team or only accessible via a web browser.
Admins will be able to pin the SharePoint Home site app to the Teams navigation menu for all staff and students, putting your school intranet just a single-click away.
The home app will allow admins to customise the naming and branding of sites as well as building in multi-level navigation. The new app and is scheduled to be released later this year.
