Spotlight in Microsoft Teams allows teachers to force a presenter, demonstration, or presentation to be made full-screen for all students.
This means that teachers can highlight exactly what they want students to be focused on and prevent distractions in lessons.
How to make a presenter full screen for all in Teams
- In the participants list click the microphone or options button next to a student’s name. You can also do this by choosing the options button below their video in the main window.
- Choose the Spotlight option.
The attendee will now be shown full-screen to all meeting participants until the meeting organiser removes the spotlight from them. To remove the spotlight and return everyone to the standard meeting view, just reverse the process.
