Each channel in Microsoft Teams has a Posts tab, which is great for holding class discussions or making quick announcements to students.
Unfortunately, it’s really easy for conversations to become lost, especially when lots of students are involved in the discussion. Important announcements can quickly scroll off the top of the screen and be missed by students.
To fix this, Microsoft is scheduled to release a pinned posts feature, which will allow teachers to pin important announcements and messages at the top of a channel.
Keep important information easily accessible and top of mind with Microsoft Teams. Users will be able to pin any message in a channel to the channel information pane for all members of the channel to see.
The new feature is set to be released in September 2020, and once available, students will never be able to use the excuse that “I didn’t see the message” ever again!
