There are three ways you can access Microsoft Teams, which makes it very easy for students and staff to get access to their lessons without the need to worry about which device they are using. If your students have a device with a web browser, you can be sure that they can access Teams.
Desktop App – Windows or Mac
The Microsoft Teams desktop app is the most fully featured version of the app available.
Install Microsoft Teams for Windows or Mac
- Visit http://teams.microsoft.com/downloads.
- Choose download for desktop and follow the on screen instructions.
Web Browser – desktop and mobile
The Microsoft Teams web app contains most of the features that the desktop app has, but with a few limitations. For example, you can’t display more than one video stream at a time in meetings. You can use Teams on the web without installing any apps, and it works on both desktop and mobile devices.
Access Microsoft Teams on the web
- Visit http://teams.microsoft.com from any web browser, including smartphones and tablets.
- Sign in with your school account.
Mobile App – iPhone, iPad, Android
The Microsoft Teams mobile app features most of the key features that your students will need, including assignments, chat, and access to files. Some features, however, are limited.
