Google Drive is a great way to share files and collaborate with colleges, but there are some limitations your users should be aware of.
A Google document, file, or folder can only be shared with a maximum of 200 users. This includes viewers, commenters, and editors. Files shared publicly do not have this limitation.
A maximum of 50 people can edit and view a document, spreadsheet, or presentation simultaneously. Other users will still be able to view the item, but they won’t be able to edit it, and they won’t be visible to others working on the item. There is also a certain limit on the number of people who can view a file at the same time.
To get around these limits Google recommends that, where possible, documents should be shared publicly.
