Google has begun rolling out an update to the Google Apps Administrator control panel. The company claims that the refresh improves navigation and more logically groups settings to provide faster access to commonly used features. The update also allows administrators to customise the dashboard allowing each user to create shortcuts and remove rarely used features.
In addition, the control panel also has a new URL, http://admin.google.com making access much simpler.
The changes are available to new Google Apps customers as soon as they register, and will be pushed out to current users in the next few weeks.
